.:. it was winter. she saw the deer again, still, under the full moon in a dirty bathroom. she pulled her voice with spider thread from deep within the hollows of her body. it twisted with flowers through her memory of spring and all the buried things. dark and slippery it was like the juicy estuaries of pomegranate flesh. she asked herself - do you remember what the moss felt like, the lessons it taught you in sponge-ing pleasure?
'how sweet i make the world, how also dark and mysterious as i birth
new remembered things..'
she remembered the touch. it was the touch that never left her, never made her body a battleground. it showed her how to be a temple grove, teaching her equal parts devotion and protection. into the same dirt beds she would fall- constantly turning like a lover in rapture, naked and rolling like a wave, like a spiral. she had reached a depth, and kept swimming, her voice at moments the weaving line to all remembered things .:.
